<p>The present invention relates to a liquid metering apparatus which comprises a tank (8), a float (24) intended to rise in the tank when it is being filled, then to descend in the tank, whilst actuating a drainage syphon (15) which empties the tank, a float syphon (27) which empties the float (24) so that it again floats when the liquid level rises, and a chamber (13) which communicates with the tank (8) and in which the entry (20) of the drainage syphon (15) opens. The descending movement of the float (24) reduces the quantity of liquid in the chamber (13).
