A fast intercepting headstock of an automatic lathe equipped with a collet seatted in a rotary spindle. Inserted centrally into the collet is a rod with a spiral spring mounted on it to eject an object after treating. The tool applies a centre (14) mounted slidably in a fastening collet (13) and joined securely with a rod (15) of an ejector. The outer diameter of the centre (14) is principally equal to an outer diameter of a part (17) that undergoes treatment.<IMAGE>
