PURPOSE:To ensure a process for an interrupted copying having a high degree or emergency by a simple operation even in case a copying which requires a balancing is carried out, by providing an interruption key, a balance key and a specified signal processing means. CONSTITUTION:When a balancing mode is set with a push of a balance key 37, a balance signal 40L is set at H level and added to a set sheet number comparing circuit 46 to start a comparison. When an interruption copy request signal 40K is set at L level, the output of an NOT circuit NG2 is set at H level. A sort signal 40M, i.e., the output of an AND circuit AG2 is set at H level. When the contents of a setting register 43 is more than 21, the value of the circuit 46 is larger than the bottole number 20. Thus an error set display signal 40N is set at H level and applied to a set sheet display driver 44 and a copy control device 41 to give a blinking to the display of a set sheet number display device 33 and thus display that the set sheet number is too large. At the same time, the H level of the signal 40N sets the output of an NOT circuit NG1 at L level and fixes the output of an AND circuit AG1 at L level to inhibit the start of copying. |
