<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a four-parameter TRV generation circuit with highly reliable evaluation by constructing a circuit in which a small current is carried through only one auxiliary switch in a voltage source circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a sample breaker 1 succeeds in its current breaking function, current i1-i3 flow because of the residual voltage in a condenser 6 current i3 flows in a serial circuit consisting of a reactor 15 and a resistor 26. As a result, a current of (i1-i3) and a current of (i2-i3) flow through condensers 11a and 14, respectively. By choosing the circuit condition suitably, a current zero point i20 subsequent to the current i2 can be generated earlier than a current zero point i10 subsequent to the current i1. An auxiliary switch 9 opens while allowing a small DC current iDC to flow initially and when a necessary distance between electrodes and so on for current breaking is obtained, this current changes into a voltage source current 1V. As the voltage source current iv approaches the zero point, the sample breaker 1 breaks the current iv. Since the auxiliary switch 9, continues closing because the current breaking property is reduced previously in comparison with the sample breaker 1, the current i2 flows and breaks the current at the next current zero point i20.</p> |
