<p>A method and apparatus for the comparison of the phase of at least two high frequency input signals (s1(t), s2(t)) in a receiver (1) have been shown. The signals (s1(t), s2(t)) are emitted as an output signal from a signal source (2) and are received by at least two antennae (5, 6). The received input signals (fs1, fs2) are combined with at least one of the reference signals (fr) through additive synthesizing in passive stages. Thereby measurement signals occur with frequencies (fm1, fm2) which constitute the beat frequencies of the input signals (fs1, fs2) and at least the one reference signal (fr), noise and operation in the receiver's (1) active or unlinear parts in all essentials being suppressed by total or partial phase cancellation.</p> |
