PURPOSE:To improve drawing quality of thick line circle, polygonal, or polygon by providing a thick line drawing apparatus with a thick line data generation control section of generating thick line data that is structural elements of a circle to be drawn. CONSTITUTION:A circle vector data generation control section 3-1 of circle thick line drawing apparatus section 3 receives a circle drawing position and a size of the circle from a data input section 1, generates circle vector data, and sends generated circle vector data to a thick data generation control section 3-2. The thick line generation control section 3-2, based on data of thickness of the circle sent from the data input section 2, generates from circle vector data received from the circle vector data generation control section 3-1 the line data that is drawing elements constituted by dots in order to draw a thick line circle without causing gap, merges the generated line data to prepare a circle, and sends the circle to an output control section 3-3. Further, the output control section 3-3 generates information to be sent out to a display section 4, and sends the information thereto. By this method, dots constituting a circle curve can be made to display a thick line circle with no gap. |
