PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber sheet wherein staple fibers are highly oriented in the thickness direction thereof by a method wherein a preheated rubber sheet material is pushed in a rubber passage while folded up and push-in pressure is formed to apply adhesion to the rubber sheet. CONSTITUTION:At first, staple fiber mixed rubber is rolled by a calender to prepare a rubber sheet material S which is, in turn, preheated by preheaters 5A, 5B to be pushed in a rubber passage 2 while alternately folded up by push-in plates 4A, 4B. At this time, the rubber sheet material S pushed in the rubber passage 2 between molds 1A, 1B in a folded state is heated. The rubber sheet material S thus pushed in the rubber passage 2 is moved in the left direction by the rubber sheet material S successively pushed in from the back while folded up and restricted over the distance corresponding to the length of the molds 1A, 1B by the molds 1A, 1B to be discharged as a thick rubber sheet 2 from the molds 1A, 1B. The slide friction force of the rubber sheet material S during this period becomes pressing force at the time of pushing-in and sufficient adhesion is obtained. |
