On a printed circuit board (17) are provided connections (25) for interconnection by electrically conductive bridges (31,33) according to the operational mode desired. The bridges are formed by conductive tracks (29) on both sides of a square printed circuit board (27) incorporated in a plug (11), insertable into a socket (21) contg. the contacts (25). Each edge (28) of the board carries a different bridging pattern, allowing mode change by simple rotation. The plug then connects different bridges for various operational modes. USE/ADVANTAGE - For two-hand machine control, emergency door monitoring etc. with simple adjustment to required mode.
