A device for reduction of knee cap fracture splinters with a unit that holds down and establishes the position of splinters, characterised in that it consists of a body (1) in the form of a cylinder on the circumference of which movable elastic jaws (2) are mounted. The jaws are ended with curved teeth (9) used for anchoring the jaws in the splinters of the fractured knee cap, whereas on the axis of the body (1) there is a slidable needle at the bottom of which the holding down unit (4) is mounted by means of an articulated joint, which is used for stabilising the position of splinters in the plane perpendicular to the axis of the device, and on the body (1) there is a slidable gripping ring (3). On the top of the body (1) there is a cap (7) covering the other sides of the jaws (2) connected with a ring spring (6).<IMAGE>
