A method of obtaining cold-hardened epoxide lacquers, in particular for coating wood and some metals, characterised in that small-molecular polyaminoamides containing hydroxyl groups, which are reaction products of aliphatic polyamines and epoxidised methyl or ethyl esters of fatty acids of vegetable oil, preferably rape or soybean oil, in the amount of 100 parts by weight react with caprolactam in the amount of 2 to 50 parts by weight, preferably in the amount of 10 to 30 parts by weight in a temperature between 80 and 160 degrees C for 0.5 to 6 hours, and then they are dissolved in organic solvents in the proportion of 30 to 80% by weight of the reaction product and respectively 20 to 70% by weight of the solvent, whereas as the second ingredient of the lacquer high- and medium-molecular epoxy resins of molecular weight from 600 to 4000 and epoxide equivalent from 0.5 to 0.25, respectively, in organic solvents in the proportion of 30 to 80% by weight of resin and respectively 20 to 70% by weight of solvent, whereas the medium-molecular epoxy resins of molecular weight between 600 and 1500 are preferably preheated with p,p' dihydroxydiphenylpropane in the proportion of 1 to 30 parts by weight of p,p' dihydroxydiphenylpropane and 100 parts by weight of resin in a temperature between 100 and 180 degrees C for 1 to 10 hours, preferably in a solvent environment, in extraordinary cases in the presence of typical addition catalysts.
