A working head of a ware handling manipulator comprising a supporting structure and an electromagnet flexibly suspended on the said structure characterised in that the electromagnet (2) is suspended on the structure (1) by means of links (3) of such length that the clearance (6) between the structure (1) and the electromagnet (2) limiting outline is bigger than the vertical displacement path section (7) of the unstable switch (4) arm end to the point where it is triggered, and the switch (4) is mounted on the structure (1) and forms part of the head lowering mechanism control circuit.<IMAGE>
