A shock absorber of a pneumatic cylinder in which a piston has on its butting face a socket which mates an attenuating pin which is placed on the cylinder's cover, whereas air supply axial hole runs through the attenuating pin and the cover, characterized by the fact that in the attenuating pin (4) near the cover's wall (2) there is at least one attenuating hole (7) connecting the cylinder's chamber (10) with the attenuating pin (4) air supply hole (8), and in the cover's wall there is at least one duct (9) which connects the air supply hole (8) with the cylinder's chamber (10), while the duct's outlet (9) to the chamber (10) is blanked off with an elastic membrane (6) with one of its ends being permanently fixed in the cover (2).<IMAGE>
