This espagnolette bolt, the length of which can be adjusted, comprises, on the one hand, a hollow rod (1) which is round and grooved over its entire length and, on the other hand, a catch (8) including means for fastening onto the said rod. This rod (1) includes, at one end, a hook (3) which is resistance welded and, at its other end, a removable hooked end fitting (4) which is immobilised in terms of rotation by fitting into the rod (1) and in terms of translation by a means for expanding the said hooked end fitting (4), and the catch (8) includes a stub interacting with the groove (2) in the rod (1). <IMAGE>
