The power supply circuit operates with an a.c. input of either 115 or 230 volts and a switch (5) is used to effect changeover. The circuit has an input stage in the form of full wave diode (D1-D4) rectifier bridge. The bridge is coupled via inductors (L1, L2) to a symmetrical output circuit with switching transistors (HS1, HS2), diodes (V1,V2) and capacitors (C1,C2). The transistors are pulsed at a rate to fix the output frequency and the voltage (UA) is changed by a factor of two by switch (5) operation. ADVANTAGE - Improved design avoiding large components.
