Device for measuring the internal temperature of a refrigeration appliance, such as a household refrigerator, household freezer or another appliance of the same type, including a temperature measurement element or sensor which is to be placed on an internal wall of the usual bodywork of the refrigerator, electrical connection elements extending from the said sensor in order to connect it with usual means for evaluating the measured temperature data. According to the invention, the sensor (3) includes a part arranged to interact with retention means (12) provided in a position situated in the usual gap (7) contained between the internal (4) and external (6) walls of the bodywork (5) of the refrigerator, which position corresponds to the internal wall (4) of the said bodywork (5), the electrical connection elements (21, 22) also being placed in the said gap and ending in electrical connection means (24) associated with a support element (23) provided in a position corresponding to an opening (25) of the external wall (6) of the bodywork (5) of the refrigerator, the said connection means (24) being designed to interact with electrical connectors (33) for connecting with means for evaluating the measured temperature data. <IMAGE>
