PURPOSE:To make variable the illumination of a luminous device by providing a mechanism for rotating or shifting a fluorescent lamp having two or more wall tube sections of different luminous color, and a shiftable reflector near the mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The semicircle section of the internal surface of a linear glass discharge vessel 4 is coated with a phosphor 3 luminous in red, green and blue, and emitting bright white color with color temperature of 6500K, while the remaining semicircle section is coated with a phosphor 30 emitting bulb color with color temperature of 3000K. When plugs 9 and 10 have a structure capable of rotation about the axial center of a fluorescent lamp, illumination color can be made variable without demounting the lamp. Also, when reflectors 21 and 20 having large reflectance for red and blue light are provided and made shiftable alternately, the color temperature of illumination light becomes variable between high and low levels. |
