PURPOSE:To obtain a prosthetic material which airtightly has a lumen holding force immediately after implantation and integrally adheres to in vivo tissues after implantation by forming a knit/woven fabric with composite yarns made of multiple wound yarns or folded yarns of in vivo absorbing polymer yarns and in vivo nonabsorbing polymer yarns. CONSTITUTION:Warp yarns 3-6 are made of multiple wound yarns of in vivo nonabsorbing polymer yarns 1 and in vivo absorbing polymer yarns 2, and weft yarns 7-10 are made of folded yarns of in vivo nonabsorbing polymer yarns 1 and in vivo absorbing polymer yarns 2. The warp yarn 3 is woven on the weft yarn 7, beneath the weft yarn 8, and on the weft yarn 9 in sequence to form a woven fabric. Polyester such as polyethylene terephtalate is used for the in vivo nonabsorbing polymer yarn. A yarn made of polylactide and the like is used for the in vivo absorbing polymer yarn. The fiber diameter of the single yarn of the in vivo nonabsorbing polymer yarn is set to 0.1-100mum, preferably 1.0-40mum. |
