<p>PURPOSE:To more strictly correct width directional displacement of a belt by correcting axial directional displacement of the belt through axial direction sliding of a steering roll in which two rotary units for restricting width directional movement of the belt are connected by an elastic member. CONSTITUTION:In a detecting means, in order to eliminate a measuring error caused by improper straightness of a belt end face 16, measurement is performed only in one or plurality of specific parts of the belt end face 16, and a measuring data in the preceding time is compared with the measuring data at this time in the measured part to calculate belt displacement. In this endless belt conveyer, a spring 32 tends to press-spread a space between rotary units 3a, 3b in a condition that a belt 1 is link-mounted, so that respective ribs 34a are press-attached to side walls of groove parts 34b to restrict width directional movement of the belt 1 on a steering roll 3 without looseness. Accordingly, width directional displacement of the belt 1 can be more accurately corrected by sliding the roll 3, on which the belt 1 is link-mounted, in the axial direction by a moving means 8.</p> |
