A gas burner ring for a gas cooker, has a burner head (1) consisting of a base plate (3) which has a central hole (4) which fits over the vertical pipe (12) which is connected to the diffuser pipe (2). A conical diffuser (5) is fitted on the upper side of the base plate (3) and has a groove (7) formed around its upper edge. This groove receives the perforated burner plate (7). The base plate (3) has a raised edge (6) which locates the hood (9) which has openings (10) for the outflow of the combution gases. USE/ADVANTAGE - Gas burner with easily removable parts which facilitates the cleaning of the burner.
