摘要

A novel process for preparing a naphthalene derivative of the formula: wherein R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, R<5>, R<6> and R<7> are a lower alkyl group, and an intermediate thereof is disclosed. Said naphthalene derivative (I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are useful as a hypolipidemic agent.
