The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for producing moulded parts or articles, preferably motor vehicle parts, motor vehicle interior linings and aircraft interior linings, comprising at least one outer layer of plastic which has on one surface side the shape of the part or the interior lining and on which there is arranged, via an intermediate layer or directly, at least one layer of plastic foam, the shaped layer of plastic or the plastic moulded part being produced by the negative thermoforming process, positive thermoforming process, cast film extrusion process, blown film extrusion process or blow moulding process, slush-moulding process or by the rotational sintering process. The moulded part or the article comprising a deformed film, web, sheet, compound, a blow moulding, a melt or a layer initially remains in the mould or is transferred during or after the cooling operation into a second mould, which corresponds to the shape and the mould profiles of the first production mould. The mould is closed off and/or sealed off by a closure cover or a closure part. After final deforming and surface texturing or graining, plastic foam or hollow particles are introduced and deformed by a hot gas or steam, the surfaces of the particles fully or partially sintering, fusing, welding or deforming to form adhesive bonds and at the same time bonding to the plastic moulded part or article arranged above or underneath. |
