Process for dyeing keratinous fibres, especially human keratinous fibres such as the hair, characterised in that there is applied on these fibres a composition containing, in a medium suitable for dyeing, at least the coupler 4-hydroxyindole as well as the salts of this compound: - at least one oxidation dye precursor; - at least one oxidising agent; the pH of the composition applied on the fibres being below 7. |
