SEALABLE PLASTICS FILM LAMINATE A heat sealable, multi-layer, oriented plastics film structure which possesses a low coefficient of friction, excellent antistatic properties and good optical clarity comprises: (a) a core layer derived from isotactic polypropylene containing an effective amount of an antistatic agent comprising glycerol monostearate, both surfaces of said core layer being coated directly or indirectly, with (b) at least one heat-sealable layer consisting of a random polyolefin copolymer and/or terpolymer compounded with an effective amount of an antiblocking agent, wherein only one external layer (b) contains silicone oil, the exposed surface of the layer not containing silicone oil being treated with silicone oil through contact of said exposed surface with the layer containing silicone oil. |
