<p>PURPOSE:To conduct a power supply test accurately using a simple structure, and to make it possible to continue the test even when a trouble occurs on a current-application vessel, an electrode and the like by a method wherein a plurality of current-application vessel units, having a current-application vessel, a main electrode and a variable insulator, are provided on the upper part of the current-application vessel in conformity with the number of phases of a non-utility generator, and also at least a current-application vessel unit is provided an auxiliary unit. CONSTITUTION:Three current-application vessel units 18 and a current-application vessel unit as a spare unit are provided in conformity with the generator of three-phase AC type to be used. The current-application vessel units 18 are composed of a current-application vessel 10 in which a resistance liquid 12 is filled, a main electrode 14 to be hangingly arranged in the current-application vessel 10, and a movable insulator 16 interposed between both of the above-mentioned vessel 10 and electrode 14. Also, an interconnecting vessel 20 collects the resistance liquid 12 in each current-application vessel 10, it is branched from the introducing main tube 22 which is provided at the upper part of the current-application vessel 10 for the purpose of feeding the resistance liquid 12. On the introducing tube 24 extended into each current-application vessel 10, a flow rate adjusting valve 26 is provided. The temperature of water in the three current-application vessels 10, which are operated using the resistance liquid in the spare vessel, is maintained uniformly, resistance value is coincided, and a test is conducted accurately. Even when a trouble occurs while the test is being conducted, the test can be continued by switching to the auxiliary unit.</p> |
