PURPOSE:To remove the metallic powder sticking to brushes implanted to clamping shafts for clamping pies at every melt-spraying operation and to efficiently collect the metallic powder by removing the metallic powder sticking to the above-mentioned brushes with scrapers provided in a melt-spraying chamber. CONSTITUTION:The iron pipe 1 is clamped by the clamping devices 2A, 2B and is rotated. This pipe is inserted and passed in the melt-spraying chamber 6. Metallic Zn is melt-sprayed onto the outside surface of the iron pipe 1 by a melt-spraying means 5 during the time after one end of the above-mentioned iron pipe 1 is inserted into the chamber before the other end passes through. The Zn sticking to the brushes 9 provided at the top ends of the clamping shafts 4A, 4B is easily removed by the scrapers 10 provided in apertures 6a, 6b of the melt-spraying chamber 6. |
