The electronic block relay uses an acceleration or vibration sensor (9) detecting the acceleration or vibration of the engine to allow the starter motor (1) for the engine to be activated upon operation of the starter switch (5), only when the detected acceleration or vibration is below a threshold value. Pref. a timing element (11) prevents the starter motor being operated within a given time interval from an initial operation of the starter switch (5). The relay control circuit pref. includes a comparator (8) receiving the output signal from the timing element (11), the signal from the starter motor and the signal from the acceleration or vibration sensor. |
