A device for preparing suspension of excrement provided with: an excrement containing vessel comprising a vessel proper to contain fluid for making excrement suspension, a first lid body disposed at an opening part of said vessel proper and internally having means for filtering excrement suspension, and a second lid body capable of tightly sealing the opening in the upper part of said first lid body; and an excrement picking rod, as an independent body, which can be contained in said containing vessel and having a plurality of grooves formed on the side thereof for picking and storing excrement. An instrument for picking excrement provided with an excrement picking rod having grooves formed in the side of the tip thereof for picking and storing excrement and an excrement wiper slidably fitted over the rod, and with the excrement picking vessel having a lid. By the use of an instrument for preparing excrement suspension, excrement picking instrument and rod of this invention, operations to pick excrement, prepare a specimen, and inspect the specimen are made easy and sanitary without the possibility of soiling inspector's hands with excrement or suspension thereof. |
