<p>Polyester resin based compsns. for use in construction materials have a wt. ratio of unsatd. alkyd resin:monomer of 3:1-1:3, the polyester resin used has a density of approx. 1 and for every 100 pts. total polyester resin present, there are 10-400 pts. water, 0.5-5 pts. of a nonionic emulsifier, 10-500 pts. of a charge (I) of wide particle size distribution and the usual catalysts and accelerators. (I) pref. consists of particles of diameter 1 mu-5 mm and is made up of e.g. sand, clay, kaolin, shale etc.</p> |
