PURPOSE:To obtain a key input impossible fault by discriminating a key no- input caused by the malfunction of a key switching control part and an idle state that there is no key input by an operator in accordance with whether a spare key switching signal is present thereon or not, and resetting a switch control part at the time of key no-input caused by the malfunction. CONSTITUTION:In a keyboard part 14, an automatic spare key switching signal transmitting part 24 is provided, and also, a reset generating part 25 for resetting a key switching control part 12 is provided. In such a state, an idle state that there is no key input from an operator is discriminated, a spare key switching signal corresponding to an unused spare key is sent out periodically and in accordance with whether this spare key switch signal is present or not, the malfunction of the key switching control part 12 is discriminated. Subsequently, in the case a key no-response state when the key switching control part 12 becomes a malfunction state is detected, a reset signal for restoring the key switching control part 12 is applied. In such a manner, the key input impossible fault of the equipment can be obviated. |
