<p>PURPOSE:To enable irregularity in recording density in intermittent recording to be prevented by a method wherein a recording interval of one line is measured, printing is driven at a pulse width according to the recording time interval based on said result, and besides feeding speed of recording paper is reduced according to said pulse width. CONSTITUTION:When CPU 1 transfer an image signal held in a line buffer area LBS to a plotter 5 and outputs one line content of an image recording, the CPU 1 examines whether printing operation of a line just before the plotter 5 has been completed or not. When continuous recording is performed, a pulse width of a strobe signal is set to a specific value and one line content recording operation is performed. Besides, recording paper is continuously fed for a one line content distance at specific recording timing (10msec), and the image is recorded continuously by a line unit on the recording paper. Further, the pulse width of the strobe signal is set to a long value corresponding to the recording interval at that time in intermittent recording operation. Besides, the recording paper is fed two times by each 1/2 line in said one time recording operation and the recording paper is consequently fed a one line content distance. The image is recorded by a line unit on the recording paper with the plotter 5.</p> |
