<p>Diamond tools e.g. drills and saws, in which diamonds are distributed in a sintered metal matrix, are made by the uniform distribution and bonding to the surface of a blank parallel to its longitudinal axis of needle shaped diamonds pref. in rows following which metal powder is poured into the die, into which the blank has been fitted, and sintering carried out by the conventional process.</p> |
