PURPOSE:To improve charging and discharging cycle performance so as to take out a big current by a method wherein a lithium foil is pressure fixed on a conductive substrate, aluminium powder or mixed powder of aluminium powder and carbon powder is uniformly dispersed and then these are heated and pressed to be compounded with a lithium foil. CONSTITUTION:A lithium foil is pressure fixed on a conductive substrate 2, aluminium powder, or mixed powder of aluminium powder and carbon powder is uniformly dispersed on the lithium foil then aluminium powder or mixed powder is heated and pressed in order to form a compound layer 3 with the lithium foil. In this case, an electrode 1 having a large specific area can be obtained, and at the same time an increase in an apparent area of the electrode is easy by a process. Thereby, an electrode having an extremely big effective surface area can be obtained together therewith reactive stability of the electrode is improved thus to improve discharge cycle performance. |
