PURPOSE:To obtain the artifical crown whose color tone is similar to a natural tooth, and which is stable in a mouth extending over a long period, excellent in living body affinity, high in mechanical strength, and also, whose color tone at the time of installation is not influenced by a color tone of a supporting base and dental cement by forming a crystallized glass layer on the outside surface of a core having a cap shape. CONSTITUTION:On the outside surface of a core 4 having a cap shape, a crystallized glass layer 3 is formed. The core 4 has a cap shape in which an inner cavity part exists, and as for its material, a metal, ceramics, crystallized glass, glass, and a composite of ceramics and glass are suitable. As for the crystallized glass layer 3, its color tone is similar to that of a natural tooth, and especially, when calcium phosphate compound crystallized glass or mica compound crystallized glass it used, it is desirable since it has stability and excellent living body affinity in a mouth extending over a long period. Also, as for the crystallized glass, glass is formed in a prescribed shape, and thereafter, subjected to heat treatment and a desired crystal is deposited in the glass. |
