PURPOSE:To prevent the title rice ball from deformation and getting out of shape by bringing one side surface of a triangular rice ball into contact with the part of inner packaging materials corresponding to the superposed part of outer packaging materials followed by covering said one side surface and both of the triangular surfaces with a packaging material. CONSTITUTION:A packaging material L is put on one of triangular recesses 15 provided on a receiving table 14 so that one end of the superposed part of outer packaging materials 1a, 1b be located at a position apart from one side of the edge of said recess 15 by about half of the thickness of a triangular rice ball 11. Thence, the rice ball 11 triangularly formed using a molding machine 12 is engaged with the recess 15 and half of the rest of the packaging material L is superposed on the rice ball 11, and the central part of one side surface 11a of said rice ball 11 is brought into contact with the part of inner packaging materials 2a, 2b corresponding to one end of the superposed part of the outer packaging materials 1a, 1b followed by covering said one side surface 11a and both of the triangular surfaces 11b with the packaging material L. Subsequently, the V-shaped heat-sealing head 16 and V-shaped cutting edge 17 of heat sealing equipment are allowed to descend onto both the outsides of the two side surfaces 11c of said rice ball 11 to firmly put the packaging material L between both the head 16 and cutting edge 17 and the receiving table 14, and the packaging material L is sealed on both the sides of the two side surfaces 11c and, at the same time, cut. |
