<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the deodorizing and dust removing filter which is imparted with a dust collecting function without losing the adsorption power of an adsorbent, maintains the initial dust collecting capacity without degrading over a long period of time and is low in pressure drop by sticking the fine powders of plural high-polymer plastics which are charged to the same code and vary in m.p. to the surface of the adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:The adsorbent and the fine powders of the plural high-polymer plastics varying in the m.p. are mixed to uniformly stick the fine powders to the surface of the adsorbent by the static electricity generated by the friction. The mixture is thereafter subjected to an electretting treatment to impart charges to the fine powders. Such adsorbent is securely stuck to the surfaces of sheets 2. Any adsorbents which can remove malodors are usable. Active carbon, zeolite, silica gel, alumina gel, zinc hydroxide, etc., are particularly adequate. Both polar high polymers and nonpolar high polymers are usable as the high-polymer plastics. The grain sizes of the plastic powders are generally preferably 0.1 to 100mum particle sizes when the adhesiveness to the adsorbent, he polarizability in the case of impartation of the charges to the particles, etc., are taken into consideration.</p> |
