<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the mixing of condensed water droplets into the compressed air to a vortex tube by arranging a baffle member around the compressed air inlet of the vortex tube and arranging a vortex head apart from the inner peripheral wall and bottom of an air cooling chamber. CONSTITUTION:An annular baffle member 72 extending toward the bottom wall 42-2 of a cooling chamber 42 is provided to a vortex head 19. Consequently, the water droplets condensed on the surface of the head 19 are dropped as shown by F toward the bottom wall 42-2 from the lower end of the member 72 and separated. The head 19 is arranged in the chamber 42 apart from the inner peripheral wall 42-1 and bottom wall 42-2, and hence the droplets are hardly transmitted to the head 19 from the walls. The mixing of condensed water into the air introduced into a compressed air inlet 24 is prevented in this way. Accordingly, dehumidification efficiency is improved.</p> |
