PURPOSE:To enable free and highly responsive performing of the ship steeing operation by making it possible to set a screw-rotating shaft, equipped at one end thereof with a screw, within a horizontal plane and in a given direction, at least two positions of the bottom portion of the hull which are spaced away from each other in the back-and-forth direction. CONSTITUTION:Screws 5 are provided at least two positions of a bottom portion 3 of the hull 1 which are spaced away from each other in the back-and-forth direction, each screw 5 being mounted to one end of a screw-rotating shaft 7, which is rotatably mounted to a support leg 9. And the support let 9 is provided with a cylindrical cover member 11 in a manner that a center axis thereof intersects a center axis of the leg 9 with the former being in conformity with an axial direction of the screw-rotating shaft 7. Further, the support let 9 is rotatably mounted to the bottom portion 3 of the hull 1 via a water-tight bearing 15 so that the screw-rotating shaft 7 can be set within a horizontal plane and in a given direction. Thus, speedy turn, slow turn or laterally directing movement becomes possible with various combinations in direction of the two screws 5. |
