<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a filtration media with low protein adsorbability by bringing a mixture of a monomer which forms a polymer having a low affinity to a specific substance and an unsaturated monomer into contact with a support. CONSTITUTION: First monomer which is a monofunctional unsaturated monomer having a hydroxyl group and is able to form a polymer having a low affinity to amide-containing materials is used. And, the solution of a mixture comprising the first monomer and a second monomer composed of an unsaturated monomer is brought into contact with a support made from porous polyvinylidene difluoride. Thereupon, these monomer compounds are polymerized onto the surface of the support to form a porous polymer medium having a low affinity to amide group-containing materials. In this way, porous polymer media having low affinity to amide group-containing materials and also to auxiliary agents such as coloring agents, antiseptics or the like are obtained.</p> |
