PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of poor sealing by connecting reservoirs with each other via a flexible communication pipe into a series-connection structure to allow the communication pipe, to which the uppermost and lowermost reservoirs in a series-connection structure are connected, to communicate with the atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Each of reservoirs 8 has both end provided with communication holes 10, 10 communicating with the close-to-upper-part inner wall of the reservoir and the outside of a cell stack 6. One of two communication holes 10, 10 is connected to the communication hole 10 in the reservoir 8 adjacent to the upper side and the other is connected to the communication hole 10 in the reservoir 8 adjacent to the lower side, via flexible communication pipes 11, 11, respectively, arranged outside of the cell stack 6. The communication pipes 11, 11 to which the uppermost reservoir 8 and the lowermost reservoir 8 are connected are provided with valves 12, respectively, to which the communication pipes 11, 11 can communicate with the atmosphere. It is thus possible to absorb a dimensional difference due to thermal expansion so as to prevent the occurrence of poor sealing. |
