A GAS ANALYZING METHOD FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE AND AN APPARATUS OF THE SAME

The apparatus analyzes CRT gas by sensing the gas generated from the getter flashing and aging processes without breaking down the CRT. The apparatus comprises an adaptor (2) having a space (2a), a neck support (2b) in the edge of the space, and a gas exhaust tube (B) support (2c); a chamber (3) circumferencing the adaptor (2), and connected to the gas exhasust tube (B); a gas analysis tube (5) having a gas sensing means, and connected to the space (2a); gas discharge means connected to the gas analysis tube. The analysis method minimized the pressure difference between the CRT and the chamber, and delays the gas leakage, to obtain the correct values of the CRT gas.
