Compounds of the formula (I): R2N-(CH2)n-NH-SO2R1 (I) and salts thereof wherein NR2 represents a piperidyl, pyrrolidyl, or N-methylpiperazyl group any of which may be substituted by one or two methyl groups; R1 is a 1-naphthyl group substituted by one or two moieties selected from fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methoxyl, ethoxyl, hydroxyl, acetoxyl, nitro, cyano, amino optionally substituted by one or two C1-6 aklkyl groups, methyl, ethyl, carboxyl, methoxycarbonyl, ethoxycarbonyl, acetamido or carboxamido; and n is 2 or 3, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and a process for their preparation. |
