<p>A device for the disposal and in particular the hygienic treatment of the sludge formed in a clarification plant has at least one reactor tank (6, 14) into which the sludge to be subjected to arerobic treatment is fed in batches. An aeration device (8) located in the reactor tank comprises a submerged motor, a disk-shaped blade wheel arranged approximately horizontally below the said motor and provided on its under side with approximately radial fins and a covering ring arranged below the blade wheel, a gap being formed between covering ring and blade wheel. Located above the blade wheel is an air channel connected to the atmosphere via an air suction pipe.</p> |
