PURPOSE:To intend early relaxation of component material for a battery mainframe and improve sealing performance by circulating electrolyte in the battery mainframe after the temperature rises to a certain value. CONSTITUTION:Power is supplied from a power supply device to heating devices 20a, 20b for heating. As a result, electrolyte in electrolyte tanks 11, 12 gets warm and when the temperature of the electrolyte is at a set temperature of 40 deg.C, e.g. feed pumps 18, 19 are operated to supply the electrolyte from the electrolyte tanks 11, 12 to a battery mainframe 13 via feed pipes 14, 15 and return from return pipes 16, 17 to the electrolyte tanks 11, 12. Synthetic resin out of component material for the battery mainframe 13 is softened as the electrolyte gets warm, resulting in material relaxation. In this way, when the battery mainframe 13 is fastened with bolts and nuts, fastening force becomes strong to prevent the leakage of electrolyte and improve sealing performance. |
