PURPOSE:To optionally change department configuration to be totalized or to adapt the copying machine controller to totalization by plural classification systems by adding copy quantity values of departments belonging to a category once an optional classification system and the category are specified. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic card is inserted, its data are read in through a head 37 and an MPU 41 decides the kind of the card and performs processes according to the decision result. At this time, the hierarchs of respective departments are set and a layer code as data indicating a category where an optional department should belong to in an optional hierarchy is made optionally settable; and the copy quantities of a group of departments belonging to an optional category are totalized and displayed by specifying the category in an optional hierarchy, thereby totalizing the copy quantities of the respective departments to be controlled in an optional combination. |
