PURPOSE:To obtain the title sheet suitable for electrodes for cells, capable of being metallized by electrolytic method without carrying out chemical pretreatment by making carbon fibers and thermally fusible fibers in a specific ratio into a sheetlike state. CONSTITUTION:A highly electrically conductive carbon fiber sheet for electrolytic plating of metal, comprising (A) carbon fibers and (B) thermally fusible fibers such as polypropylene in a weight ratio of the component A:B=30:70-90:10. Void ratio of the sheet is 90-99%. The melting point of the component B is preferably >=130 deg.C. The objective sheet is preferably used for electrolytic plating.
