PURPOSE:To prevent a hum noise from occurring and to attain the diversification of a tone color by enabling plural pickup units to be combined arbitrarily, and setting the magnetizing directions of magnetic cores of neighboring units oppositely to each other. CONSTITUTION:The pickup units are arranged so as to be confronted with each other neighboring to a string, respectively. In such a case, a noise can be prevented from occurring by arranging the magnetizing direction of the magnetic cores of the neighboring units so as to provide with polarity opposite to each other, respectively. The switching of five patterns of coils 15A-15F of the pickup units can be performed by switches 21A, 21B, and 21C. Therefore, the noise can be prevented from occurring by obtaining output of every kind of type based on the position of the switch, and also, the tone color can be diversified. |
