PURPOSE:To improve maneuvering stability and a wet draining ability on the dry road surface without increasing pattern noise by continuing respective slanting grooves adjacent in the circumferential direction of a tire mutually through at least a single circumferential directional zigzag groove extending in the circumferential direction of the tire. CONSTITUTION:A linear groove 2 in the circumferential direction and secondary grooves 3 in the circumferential direction are arranged on a tread part 1, and slanting grooves 5 opening to the linear groove 2 and the tread edges in the circumferential direction are also arranged. In this case, the slanting grooves 5 adjacent in the circumferential direction of a tire are continued mutually through, for example, a single circumferential directional zigzag groove 6 which extends in the circumferential direction of the tire and is situated between the grooves 2 and 3 in the circumferential direction. The zigzag grooves 6 are formed from linear parts 7 extending in the circumferential direction of the tire between the adjacent slanting grooves 5 and bending parts 8 extending in the width direction of the tire. In the linear parts 7, the grooves having large widths and the ones having small widths are arranged alternately in the circumferential direction of the tire with the slanting grooves 5 as those boundaries. |
