A superconductive compound is described on the basis of an oxide complex with the formula [L1-xMx]aAbOy, in which L is lanthanum, lutetium, yttrium or scandium; A is copper, bismuth, titanium, tungsten, zirconium tantalum, niobium or vanadium; M is barium, strontium, calcium, magnesium or mercury and "a" is 1 to 2; "b" is 1; "x" is a numerical value within the range 0.01 to 1.0 and "y" is approximately 2 to approximately 4. This oxide complex is produced by a reaction process with fixed phase, whereby an oxide complex is obtained with increased conversion temperatures for superconductivity compared to an oxide complex with corresponding empirical construction and which is produced by a procedure based on combined precipitation - decomposition at high temperatures. In connection with an oxide complex produced by reaction in fixed phase according to the invention conversion temperatures have been observed as high as 100C up to and including at atmospheric pressure. |
