PURPOSE:To make the percentage occupied by sendust almost uniform, by laminating wide thin belts of sendust so as to overlap uneven stripes with each other, which belts have a plurality of longitudinal uneven stripes on the surface and the rear. CONSTITUTION:Pressurized gas is introduced into a heating vessel 1, and molten 7 of sendust is continuously spouted from thin jet holes 3. This continuously spouted molten 8 is quenched and rolled. At the time of the above quenching and rolling, the molten 8 from each of the thin jet holes 3 is formed in a thin belt 9, which has a plurality of recessed stripes and protruding stripes in the longitudinal direction on the surface and the rear, and alternately has thick- walled parts and thin-walled parts in the sectional shape. Thereby the percentage occupied by sendust can be made almost uniform. |
