PURPOSE:To improve yield per unit area by periodically moving a culture bar planted with hydroponic stocks at regular spaces, thereby expanding the occupying area of the hydroponic stock according to the growth of the stock. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of pots 3 are attached at regular intervals to a bar main body 2 having a mirror-symmetric shape. A urethane block 4 holding a culture plant root passing through the block is inserted into each pot to obtain a culture bar 1. The bar is suspended with a pair of holding tools of a crab 7 placed on beams 9 of a girder 8 of a spacing robot 6. Hydroponic culture of the plant is carried out by suspending the bar on a culture liquid bed 5 placed between a pair of girder traveling rails 12. The crab 7 on a crab- traveling rail 10 and the spacing robot 6 are moved in the directions of X and Y, respectively, according to the growth of the hydroponic stock to widen the space between the pot 3 and the culture bar 1 and expand the occupying area of the hydroponic stock. |
